Rare Basic worked closely with Austin Reed to update and reposition their image. Tom Ellery who has been appointed by Austin Reed as Visual Consultant. Tom has worked with UK and International major retailers and is renowned throughout the industry for his bold, strong visual statements.

He has given the Regent Street flagship store a powerful identity. We were able to offer three male mannequins to reflect the age groups of their clients plus two 'confident' females. The high gloss pewter finish chosen from the Porche colour chart gave Austin Reed a powerful brand recognition in the market place. Mirrored nests of tables are placed around the store to show shirts and ties while shoes are displayed on mirrored 'brilliance bricks'. The formula has proved so successful Austin Reed ran this through their other stores.
