Case Study: BBC's - 'WHAT NOT TO WEAR'

BBC's primetime 'What Not To Wear' programme requested a number of illuminated bodyforms. After recent appearances of Rare Basics' products on ITV's 'The Club' and Channel 4's 'Boys and Girls', their bodylamps were used in April on BBC1's celebrity 'What Not To Wear' programme and the appearance was so successful, that both male and female illuminated bodyforms are to be used in the new series on BBC2, being filmed throughout the summer.
Sonia Crozier, Set Designer of the BBC's 'What Not To Wear' programme explains:
"I first saw Rare Basics' bodyforms featured in an interior design magazine and thought that they would be ideal for the 'What Not To Wear' flat. We approached Rare Basic and they agreed to lend us three floor standing bodylamps for use on our celebrity BAFTA show featuring Jo Brand. The bodyforms are great for dressing and because their shape is realistic and they are illuminated, they show off the outfits really well and make a great feature of the backdrop. Rare Basic are a really nice company and they are providing us with a number of bodylamps for the new series". In response Gay Briggs, Director of Rare Basic said
"We are delighted to supply the bodylamps and we look forward to seeing them on screen later this year".
